The exhibition “Pillars of Time” by Mirjana Milovanović opens on Friday, February 7th, at 7pm at the Parobrod Art Gallery.
The author wrote about the exhibition itself:
“The exhibition “Pillars of Time” presents my artistic interpretation of the world through the prism of time. Through a series of paintings, I explore how architecture and the environment change over the course of past eras, placing pillars that symbolize the continuity and evolution of our living space.”
Each work in this exhibition is like a pillar that supports a story of the past, present and future. Through abstract forms and a wealth of colors, I show how the structures and landscapes of our planet have evolved and transformed, leaving traces that connect us to our history and heritage.
“Pillars of Time” is not just a gallery of images, but an invitation to explore together how our environments have been shaped by time and how we, as individuals and communities, have shaped those spaces. Through my artistic expression, I want to encourage viewers to think about our place in time and space, our relationships with our environment, and our role in its future.”
